Bitdeer is expanding its U.S. manufacturing footprint after securing a logistics facility in northern Nevada, a move that underscores how major bitcoin mining hardware makers are repositioning supply chains amid growing trade and tariff uncertainty.

Bitdeer has leased roughly 188,000 square feet at Dermody’s LogistiCenter at Kiley Ranch Building 2 in Sparks, Nevada, part of the Reno–Sparks industrial corridor, according to a release from Dermody on Friday. The space will be built out to support a manufacturing and assembly operation for Bitdeer’s SEALMINER bitcoin mining rigs, marking what the company describes as its flagship U.S. facility.

Dermody is a privately held industrial real estate developer and logistics property owner that specializes in large-scale warehouses, manufacturing facilities and inland port–adjacent logistics hubs across the U.S.

The lease adds to Bitdeer’s efforts to localize more of its hardware production and customization inside the U.S., as ASIC manufacturers face heightened risks from shifting trade policy, tariffs and export controls that have complicated global supply chains in recent years.

Bitdeer said the Sparks facility is intended to anchor its longer-term SEALMINER strategy, which includes advancing chip design and expanding domestic assembly capacity. The company cited Nevada’s business environment, access to skilled labor and transportation infrastructure as factors behind the site selection.

The move mirrors a broader trend among leading ASIC makers and mining infrastructure firms, many of which are exploring U.S.-based manufacturing or final assembly to reduce exposure to cross-border disruptions.
